PUBLIC POLICY
We fight to eradicate the root causes of poverty in Orange County and Southern California.

We help young people gain the knowledge and confidence to shape their own futures through education, health, job training and more.

FINANCIAL EMPOWERMENT
Through a variety of programs, we teach responsible money management, banking, budgeting and credit habits. We also provide tax preparation support.

HEALTHY HOMES
We assist and educate qualified low-income families and individuals in weatherizing their homes to save energy and money. With our Weatherization Assistance Program, we offer no-cost energy upgrades for your house, mobile home, condo, townhouse or apartment. Upgrades include attic insulation; repair/replace water heater, AC, furnace/heater; mechanical ventilation and more. Lic # 949893

WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT
We prepare adults and young people for the workforce through time management, resume building, interview skills and job search assistance.

HEALTHY COMMUNITIES
We encourage individuals and families to participate in activities that benefit their long-term health. Our programs include nutrition education, physical activity promotion, and substance abuse prevention. To learn more, click here.

CalAIM HOUSING SUPPORTS
CAP OC offers CalAIM Housing supports including Housing Transition Navigation Services, Housing Deposits, Housing Tenancy & Sustaining Services, and Day Habilitation to assist individuals in need of housing resources.
CalAIM is a collaborative initiative led by California’s Department of Health Care Services and administered through CalOptima Health to provide access to specialized non-medical services that address challenges affecting a person’s health.

CalAIM HOME MODIFICATION SUPPORTS
CAP OC offers CalAIM Home Modification supports including Asthma Remediation and Environmental Accessibility Adaptations (EAA) to alleviate environmental health and safety concerns in an individual’s home.
CalAIM is a collaborative initiative led by California’s Department of Health Care Services and administered through CalOptima Health to provide access to specialized non-medical services that address challenges affecting a person’s health.

CalAIM ENHANCED CARE MANAGEMENT
Enhanced Care Management (ECM) is a program within Medi-Cal designed to provide extra, coordinated care for people with complex health and social needs. It targets anyone with significant challenges, like those experiencing homelessness, those with serious mental health or substance use issues, or those who frequently use emergency rooms. It provides a dedicated care manager who helps coordinate all aspects of a person’s care. This includes connecting them with medical, mental health, and social services, such as housing, food, and transportation. It aims to address both medical and non-medical factors that impact health.
