Elevate Youth targets its efforts in Anaheim, Orange, and Santa Ana, but welcomes youth ages 12 to 26 from surrounding cities as well. Through arts-based activities, Elevate Youth hopes to build awareness on substance use and prevention and increase youth’s leadership abilities. As in-person events are taking place, our staff are out in the community to share about Elevate Youth and encourage youth to join. In July, Elevate Youth hosted a booth at an event hosted by Project Kinship in the Bishop Manor neighborhood in Santa Ana. Youth and parents who visited our booth were able to hear about Elevate Youth’s activities, the impact of youth engagement, and the importance of self-care.
