During the month of November, Elevate Youth focused on leadership and advocacy. Elevate Youth and the Adult Allies took their hangouts to Anaheim, Orange, and Santa Ana to facilitate conversations on leadership, change making, and community service. On Thanksgiving, Elevate Youth partnered up with the Southwest Community Center during their Open Thanksgiving Luncheon. Participants volunteered their time to assist with food sorting, preparation, cooking, packaging, and much more. Our first Elevate Youth Volunteer Opportunity was a success!
