During the month of November, the Reducing Youth Access to Tobacco Program hosted a Letter Writing Meeting with the coalition members from La Habra Teens Against Vaping and Vape Free La Habra on November 19, 2021. During this meeting, youth and adult coalition members participated in writing letters to La Habra decision makers about the impact tobacco use and vaping has in their community. The coalition members are planning to meet with decision makers in December to inform them of their concern. Youth and adult members also participated in painting t-shirts to increase awareness of the harmful effects of tobacco use. Coalition members were introduced to Veronica Ramirez, Health Educator from the Orange County Health Care Agency who will continue to support the Vape Free La Habra coalition beginning January 2022.
