Program Coordinator
Healthy Communities Initiative (HCI)

Position Summary
Staff is responsible for the Healthy Communities Initiative project funded through St. Jude Hospital. This program works with communities surrounding 35 Title 1 schools in the cities of Fullerton, Buena Park, Placentia and La Habra to prevent and reduce obesity by providing nutrition education and physical activity opportunities. The Coordinator will directly provide and/or facilitate through community partnerships, a minimum of one nutrition education session per month and one physical activity session per month. Coordinator will also be responsible for challenging residents to establish healthy goals and will conduct follow-up. Other tasks include: coordinating resident trainings in the targeted cities and assist with management of the Lunchtime Exercise Activity Program (LEAP) and interns in 2 school districts. Required: Bachelor’s degree preferred with 1-2 years or more related experience or AA degree with 3-4 years or more related experience. Communicate in Spanish and English is required. Driver/Warehouse Worker
Food Bank

Position Summary
Under close supervision, operates vehicles, loads, unloads, weighs, stores and distributes food products,records data on logs; and assists in the maintenance of the vehicles and warehouse. Works with volunteers, donors and clients. Performs other duties as required. Required: Some experience and/or education which would have applied or developed the required knowledge and abilities. Nonprofit experience and Class B Driver’s License is desirable. Must submit copy of a valid California Class C Driver’s License including a DMV printout of current driving record with application. A math test will be administered and must pass test to be considered for interview. Please note: The Department of Transportation (DOT) Driver position is regulated by rules governed under the United States Department of Transportation and is subject to periodic Random DOT Drug Testing.
